Michael Page Logistics is collaborating with a prominent player in the dining industry to recruit a Supply Chain Operations Manager focused on outbound logistics.

Our client is a well-known brand that has seen significant expansion in recent years. You will be joining the organization as they undergo a major transformation in their business strategy.

Location

This position is primarily based in South West London, requiring a minimum of three days on-site each week.

Key Responsibilities

As the Supply Chain Operations Manager, your main duties will include:

  • Overseeing outbound logistics and supply from distributors to guarantee optimal service levels.
  • Identifying and spearheading initiatives that foster growth and enhance the efficiency and resilience of the supply chain.
  • Taking full responsibility for product supply to our Irish distributors, collaborating with Supply Chain Managers to ensure high availability and cost reduction.
  • Addressing delivery challenges and serving as the primary escalation contact.
  • Facilitating supply chain activities linked to new product introductions, ensuring timely and complete product delivery.
  • Managing and analyzing service level KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Supporting the management of contracts with distribution partners, including regular service evaluations and contract discussions.

Candidate Profile

We invite applications from individuals with a background in supply chain and logistics within a multi-site environment dealing with fast-moving products.

You should possess prior experience in managing relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and demonstrate a collaborative approach with the ability to foster positive relationships.

Knowledge of forecasting and demand planning is essential, supported by strong analytical skills in handling large datasets and proficiency in Excel.
