We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to children and adolescents, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
About the RoleThis is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in child and adolescent psychiatry. You will be working in a busy acute hospital setting, providing consultation, assessment, and treatment to young people with mental health needs.
As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for leading the Paediatric Liaison Service, working closely with our paediatric acute colleagues, social care teams, and other stakeholders to provide seamless care to our patients. You will also have the opportunity to develop and implement new services and initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality clinical care to children and adolescents with mental health needs
- Lead the Paediatric Liaison Service, working closely with our multidisciplinary team
- Develop and implement new services and initiatives to improve patient outcomes
- Work closely with our paediatric acute colleagues, social care teams, and other stakeholders to provide seamless care to our patients
- Contribute to the development of our team and the delivery of excellent patient care
We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with a strong background in child and adolescent psychiatry, who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. You will have excellent clinical skills, a strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
You will also have a strong commitment to professional development, a willingness to learn and adapt, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
