Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting ecological surveys, supporting experienced ecologists on various projects, and analyzing data to inform project decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of ecological principles and survey methods, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct ecological surveys to assess the environmental impact of various projects.
- Support experienced ecologists on various projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Analyze data and report findings to inform project decisions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- A degree in Ecology or a related field, such as Environmental Science or Conservation Biology.
- Experience in conducting ecological surveys, with a strong understanding of ecological principles and survey methods.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel and statistical software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using ecological survey equipment and software is advantageous.
The competitive salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per year, with ongoing training, flexibility to work from home, an annual bonus, and paid memberships.
