Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting ecological surveys, supporting experienced ecologists on various projects, and analyzing data to inform project decisions. This role requires a strong understanding of ecological principles and survey methods, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct ecological surveys to assess the environmental impact of various projects.
2. Support experienced ecologists on various projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
3. Analyze data and report findings to inform project decisions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

1. A degree in Ecology or a related field, such as Environmental Science or Conservation Biology.
2. Experience in conducting ecological surveys, with a strong understanding of ecological principles and survey methods.
3. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel and statistical software.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific information to non-technical stakeholders.
5. Proficiency in using ecological survey equipment and software is advantageous.

Salary and Benefits:

The competitive salary for this role is £25,000 - £30,000 per year, with ongoing training, flexibility to work from home, an annual bonus, and paid memberships.
