About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Roving Veterinary Surgeon to join our team in Salisbury, Wiltshire. As part of our vibrant and growing veterinary practice, you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Job Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pets and their owners. You will have the chance to work with a variety of animals, conduct routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments, as well as perform surgical procedures when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on a range of animals.
  • Conduct surgical procedures, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
  • Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Requirements
  • Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
