Recovery Support Assistant

About the Position: We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Recovery Support Assistant - Community Outreach in Chester, Ellesmere Port, or Northwich.
Job Description: In this role, you will work closely with our staff to provide support and guidance to individuals facing problems with drugs and alcohol. Your primary responsibility will be to advise people on drug awareness, overdose prevention, safer injecting, safer sex practices, and other harm minimisation advice.
Responsibilities: You will also be responsible for supporting staff to complete service user assessments and helping people access other services and support in the local community.
Working Conditions: The role involves working 1-2 days per week (days are flexible) and participating in team meetings. You will also be expected to participate in other tasks where necessary to support the needs of the service.
Estimated Salary: £12,000 - £15,000 per annum, depending on experience.
