We are seeking an experienced Guide Dog Mobility Specialist/Instructor to join our team, providing exceptional services for people with sight loss.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our Vision Rehabilitation Specialists and Guide Dog Trainers to create exceptional guide dog partnerships.

As a Guide Dog Mobility Specialist, you will have a passion for delivering person-centred and dog-centred approaches to creating these life-changing partnerships.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you must have a recognised qualification as a Guide Dog Mobility Specialist (GDMS/GDMI) under the International Guide Dogs Federation.

You should have extensive experience working for an Organisation recognised by the International Guide Dogs Federation, with a valid UK/EU driving licence or alternative arrangements in place.

Your coaching and teaching skills will enable you to instruct individuals and groups in practical skills and theoretical knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality guide dog mobility services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Teach and coach clients in various settings
Benefits:

Our competitive salary package includes:

£34,805 - £38,388 per annum (negotiable based on experience) + £4,200 London Weighting for eligible roles.
