**Job Description:**

Regional Maintenance Director - North is a critical leadership role at Sun Chemical, responsible for maintaining site operations and ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and safely. The successful candidate will lead a team of skilled fitters and contractors, manage site maintenance activities, and oversee the implementation of effective maintenance strategies to maximize uptime.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Directing site maintenance activities to achieve maximum uptime
  • Working closely with operational management to optimize equipment performance and maintain regulatory compliance
  • Implementing effective maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and increase overall equipment effectiveness
  • Managing and developing a team of skilled fitters and contractors
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and analyzing SAP PM data for performance monitoring

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a driving license
  • Hold a degree in engineering or a related field, or possess a qualified apprenticeship with ONC and HNC
  • Be proficient in using SAP, MS Office, and other software tools used in the maintenance environment
  • Have experience working in hazardous environments and possess knowledge of DSEAR/ATEX regulations
  • Have experience managing teams, projects, and resources in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Hold a NEBOSH or IOSH certificate or another recognized safety qualification
