About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with autism and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily living support, including cooking meals, cleaning, and medication administration (after completing relevant training)
  • Support individuals with off-site activities, such as swimming, cinema, or theme parks, and help them plan towards and achieve their goals
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of the individuals you support
  • Work closely with the registered manager, deputy manager, and senior team members to ensure the delivery of person-centered care
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individual care plans
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with autism and learning disabilities
  • Ability to work on a shift rota basis, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
  • Full UK clean driver's license (preferable for this role)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
