We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Tax Manager to lead our tax department and guide a team of talented professionals. As the Personal Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing personal tax compliance and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert guidance on complex personal tax matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and advise clients on tax planning strategies to optimize their tax position.
- Conduct detailed reviews of tax computations and personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Mentor and support junior tax professionals, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering exceptional client service and personalized tax advice.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and industry trends, implementing best practices in the tax department.
- CTA qualified, demonstrating a deep understanding of personal tax and relevant tax legislation.
- Proven experience in managing personal tax compliance and advisory services, ideally within an accounting practice.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team of tax professionals.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring high-quality tax computations and documentation.
- A proactive and solution-oriented approach to resolving tax-related challenges.
- Proficiency in tax software and MS Office suite.
