English Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced English Teacher to join our team at The Manchester College. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students, providing a secure and friendly environment for them to succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, lead, and develop the English curriculum area within the establishment to ensure compliance with the national curriculum framework.
  • Deliver high-quality, learner-focused education to students of all ages and abilities.
  • Provide supervision of the English curriculum area, ensuring that you meet budget, quality, and operational targets.
  • Integrate functional skills, best practice, and quality targets into the curriculum area.

  • A competitive salary between £25,809 - £43,397 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
  • 56 days annual leave, including 45 days holiday, a minimum of 3 college closures, and 8 bank holidays.
