We are excited to announce an Innovation Research Engineer opportunity at Malvern Panalytical. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of innovative analytical software systems, working closely with our Research & Development and Sustaining teams.

About the Role

This full-time position is ideal for students looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, applying your knowledge of scientific programming languages, such as Python, and experimental planning principles.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop innovative analytical software systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver science solutions
  • Apply your knowledge of experimental planning and scientific programming skills to solve complex problems
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong understanding of experimental planning and laboratory environments
  • Experience with scientific programming languages, such as Python
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
  • An interest in understanding technology challenges and communicating complex research topics
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £22,308 per annum, 25 days paid annual leave, and company benefits including an employee assist program, pension, and discounted gym membership. Estimated Salary: £22,308 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on location and experience)
