Reservations Coordinator

Job Summary:

Melia White House Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our team. As a key member of our reservations department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all telephone and email enquiries are dealt with in a friendly and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be fully conversant with all systems and computer procedures related to Reservations.
• Answer all telephone calls within three (3) rings and to deal with all calls in a friendly and professional manner and to company standards.
• Prioritise any correspondence from the day before and from external guests and clients, to ensure efficient Customer service.
• To be aware of current and future availability on a daily basis, as well as any selling strategy proposed by Revenue with its restrictions.
• Be up to date with all short and long term promotions available at the hotel.
• Be fully familiar with the hotel facilities and services and to promote these whenever possible.
• Respect any confidential information received regarding guests, staff and management, ensuring compliance with regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English and additional Spanish would be beneficial.
• Opera Knowledge.
• Prior experience in a similar role.
• The successful candidate must already have eligibility to work in the UK.
