Transport Planner Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team at Logistica Professional Recruitment Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to work in a fast-paced environment and excel in providing outstanding communication and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network optimization of existing and potential contracts
  • Identifying projects in the transport operation and carrying out these projects to a high standard
  • Planning for the whole of the UK network
  • Helping to win and bring on board new contracts as a vital contact for the business development team
  • Re-adjusting routes and communicating with all parties
  • Producing tachograph analysis and reports on transport efficiencies for the Directors
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years Transport planning experience
  • Experience in tankers would be ideal
  • Knowledge of manual transport planning
  • Excellent UK geographical transport knowledge
  • Commutable daily to Grantham
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A significant understanding of road logistics
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
  • Very computer literate
Working Hours:

4 on 4 off days, typically 6am-4pm
