  • Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging Physics lessons to students, aligning with the national curriculum and fostering a stimulating learning environment.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to promote academic achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources, ensuring a cohesive and effective learning experience.
  • Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Support the overall welfare and well-being of students, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in Physics education and implement best practices in teaching.

Requirements

  • A degree in Physics or a related field, accompanied by a teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS).
  • Proven experience teaching Physics at the secondary level, with a track record of student achievement.
  • Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate students.
  • A passion for Physics and a commitment to creating a stimulating learning environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • A positive and professional attitude, with a growth mindset and a willingness to continuously improve as an educator.
