Job Title: Head of Private Client Tax

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Private Client Tax to lead our team and drive business growth in this strategic area.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering high-quality tax advice to private clients, with a focus on stamp taxes and real estate transactions. They will be responsible for leading a team of tax professionals, developing and implementing business strategies, and building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Stamp Taxes practice and grow the business through internal opportunities and external referral networks.
  • Support the Real Estate Team and the wider practice, working with a variety of people across many parts of the business.
  • Structure the Stamp Taxes team to facilitate continued training and development for key staff members.
  • Improve technical enhancement for the practice as a whole, establishing good practices for other parts of the business engaging with the Stamp Taxes team.
  • Take ultimate responsibility for the delivery of complex Stamp Taxes assignments for the firm.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA) and/or CTA (or breadth of knowledge equivalent to CTA, e.g. law qualification).
