Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fire Safety Systems Specialist to join our team at Fusion People Ltd. This role is centred on delivering Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) services, including repairing life safety systems and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures and requirements within the contract.

The Role

  • Servicing, maintaining, and installing fire alarm systems (BS5839-1) and emergency lighting systems, as well as Nurse Call, Access Control systems, fire extinguishers and AOVs in accordance with relevant British Standards.
  • Accurately completing engineer service reports.
  • Striving for a first-time fix whenever possible.

Requirements

  • A full UK drivers license
  • Previous experience with fire alarms as well as knowledge on analogue addressable and conventional fire alarm systems
  • FIA training (or equivalent required) to BS5839-1 Fundamentals

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £28,295 - £37,440 per annum, with an Overtime paid at x1.5 of your wage. Other benefits include ongoing career development opportunities, a company vehicle and a fuel card, phone and Tablet, Full test equipment and power tools, 22 days of holiday allowance plus any UK bank holidays (30 days in total).
