Job Title: Property Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Director to join our team at Nouvo Recruitment (London) Ltd. As a Property Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the Property Management Team, their objectives, delivery to the customers, and Customer Service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overall Management: Manage and be responsible for the Service Deliverables of the Property Management Team.
  • Property Management Activities: Oversee and direct property management activities related to our diverse portfolio.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and direct activities of property management staff, providing training and coaching as appropriate.
  • Operations Management: Responsible for the overall successful operations of properties and ensure department operations meet or surpass industry standards (RICS code, etc.) and client KPIs/SLAs.
  • Legislative Knowledge: Strong knowledge of property management legislation, rules, and regulations.
  • People Management: Good command of people management and managing large and complex developments.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present departmental reports relating to project performance, goals, standards, benchmarks, etc.
  • Client Relationships: Maintain good working relationships with clients, finding solutions to problems and their implementation.
  • Supplier Management: Manage supplier partners to ensure effective delivery of their services.
  • Industry Standards: Stay abreast of property management and other real estate-related industry standards, legislation impacting department and industry practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Regularly communicate and cooperate with Asset Management staff on all PM reporting and regulatory issues.
  • Client Satisfaction: Ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Service Delivery: High service delivery.
  • Team Engagement: Team engagement.
  • Customer Experience: Provide a 5* Customer Experience.
  • Collaboration with Executive Team: Collaborate with the executive team to deliver against the Customer Experience, Compliance, and Project Management objectives.
  • Complaints Handling: Ensure all complaints are responded to in accordance with our complaints process.
  • GDPR Compliance: Ensure your department is compliant with GDPR.
  • Experience and Qualifications: Experience in a similar role, BA or BSc degree required, MTPI qualified.
  • Leadership and Management: Strong leadership in property management practices and techniques, leadership & demonstrable management skills.
  • Mentoring and Performance: Passionate about mentoring teams to inspire confidence and results-orientation, outcome-oriented and motivated by performance-based rewards.
  • Relationship Building: Able to channel different points of view, establish and maintain excellent relationships, and foster team atmosphere with internal staff while achieving key objectives.
  • Communication and Analytical Skills: Possess exceptional relationship building and communication skills between internal and external stakeholders, strategic and highly analytical with the ability to take large amounts of information and develop innovative solutions.
  • Desirable Qualifications: MRICS desirable, Assoc RICS and IOSH desirable, NEBOS desirable.
