Production Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our client, a leading manufacturer in the industry. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for motivating and leading a team of Production Supervisors and shop floor operators to achieve daily, weekly, and quarterly productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the daily plan is adhered to and achieved by the production team
  • Lead the team in developing and implementing effective systems for improving internal and external quality, cost improvements, and on-time delivery
  • Be accountable for daily analysis of variable labour costs and work with Production Supervisors and Team leaders to determine required staffing levels
  • Carry out management responsibilities including recruiting, training employees, planning, directing work, evaluating, and appraising individual performance
  • Control departmental budgets and be responsible for HSE on the shop floor
  • Showcase continuous improvement and lean manufacturing experience, including ownership of 6S and attendance at weekly meetings with senior members of the management team
