Job Description

The primary purpose of this position is to define and implement the System Integration and Test, Verification and Validation (SIVV) strategy, management, and tasks for key business projects across a range of domains.

This role will be responsible for planning and executing a complex SIVV campaign, including leading and managing SIVV teams. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of Systems Engineering, Design, Verification, and Validation and of complex Systems and sub-systems in Land, Sea, and Air domains.

The salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Liaison with project/bid managers, requirements lead, and the customer to ensure SIVV is an integral part of the planning process at the start of the lifecycle.
  • Prepare SIVV plans, work, and organisational breakdown structures and schedules for SIVV activities.
  • Lead and manage SIVV teams to conduct SIVV to schedule.

Experience and Skills

  • Planning and execution of a complex SIVV campaign.
  • Experience of leading and managing SIVV teams.
  • Able to influence a wide range of people to get the work done – needs to be highly effective in a matrix-based organisation – a good team player.
