Teaching Personnel is on the lookout for dedicated Cover Supervisors to assist in reputable secondary schools throughout Essex. These institutions serve approximately 1000 learners aged 11-16 years. This role is ideal for individuals aiming to gain valuable classroom experience while considering a future in education.
As a Cover Supervisor, your primary duties will involve maintaining a conducive learning atmosphere and ensuring that students remain engaged in their tasks. By collaborating with school staff, you will allow qualified educators to concentrate on critical responsibilities such as lesson planning and assessment.
This position is focused on Key Stage 3 and 4 within a secondary school framework.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Effectively managing classroom dynamics.
- Assisting students in achieving their academic objectives.
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons.
- Adapting to various subject areas as needed.
- Demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
- Working hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with no weekend commitments.

- Confidence in classroom management.

- A positive and proactive approach.
- Ability to handle student behavior challenges effectively.
Compensation:
- Competitive pay of up to £350 per week, depending on experience.

The stated pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday compensation. This is a temporary role, with the possibility of future permanency in select cases.
