Senior Project Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our team in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing product designs, developing close working relationships with key customers and managing projects from start to finish.

About the Role
  • Analyse product designs using Dover Precision Components (DPC) tools and practices, interpret results and determine optimum solutions to customer requirements.
  • Develop close working relationships with key customers' technical contacts, ensuring business opportunities are recognised and responded to appropriately at an early stage.
  • Support the development of advanced analysis techniques such as Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and rotordynamics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Over 7 years of experience employed in an engineered product manufacturing environment for industrial-level rotating or reciprocating equipment, or components thereof.
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills, with the ability to present to and interface with customers continually.
  • Familiarity with 3D AutoCAD and strong general IT skills.
  • A thorough understanding of engineering principles and design practices.

We have established manufacturing sites globally and are seeking to recruit an additional staff member due to a promotion at our facility in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.

Location

Salary

£60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
