Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Seller Experience Collective team. As a key member of our squad, you will be responsible for designing and building the future Seller experience of our platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement features to improve the Seller experience
  • Work closely with the squad to prioritize bugs, features, and technical refactoring
  • Assess legacy code in our PHP monolith to architect and implement bounded domains
  • Build out tech designs, documentation, monitoring, and logging for features to improve reliability and observability
  • Work with iOS/Android/Web engineers to define robust and extensible APIs
  • Contribute to the technical roadmap to align engineering efforts with product deliverables
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a senior backend engineer
  • Autonomous - You take full ownership of the architecture and technical design of the code you deliver
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and associated methodologies (SOLID, CLEAN, Domain-Driven Design, etc.)
  • Professional experience in building scalable, maintainable, and robust backends, preferably using PHP (Golang is a plus)
  • Product-driven - Focused on the experience of the end-user when designing and implementing features
  • Data-oriented - You understand the importance of monitoring technical and business KPIs
  • Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban) and their ceremonials
