Community Development Officer for Women's Cricket

The Yorkshire Cricket Board is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to drive the development of women's cricket across East Yorkshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality coaching programs in schools, clubs, and communities to increase opportunities and engage females in cricket.
This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people and contribute to the growth of women's cricket in the region. You will work closely with our Head of Women's Cricket to develop and implement effective strategies to promote and develop the women's game at all levels.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- Proven experience in delivering coaching programs or similar initiatives in schools, clubs, and community settings
- A strong understanding of coaching principles and methodologies, particularly in working with underrepresented groups
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- ECB Level 2 / Core Coach qualification or equivalent
You will also have the opportunity to work unsocial hours, including evenings and weekends, and undergo an ECB Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check due to the nature of the role. A competitive salary and benefits package is offered, reflecting the company's commitment to attracting and retaining top talent. Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum. Estimated annual salary based on industry standards and the level of expertise required for the role.
