Role Overview:

KnoWho is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Media Relations Manager to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity for a media relations professional with a strong background in financial services to make a significant impact in a challenging and rewarding role.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the financial markets, regulatory frameworks, and economic trends. They will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive media relations strategies that align with KnoWho's business objectives and enhance brand reputation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement media relations strategies that meet KnoWho's business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key financial journalists, editors, and industry influencers to secure positive media coverage.
  • Act as a trusted advisor during sensitive issues, providing expert guidance on managing media narratives and mitigating risks.
  • Develop and oversee the creation of high-quality press releases, media kits, op-eds, and other communication materials tailored for financial audiences.
  • Identify and pitch compelling stories that showcase KnoWho's expertise and leadership in the financial sector.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on media coverage and campaign performance to inform future strategies.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5–10 years in media relations or corporate communications, with a strong focus on financial services.
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, regulatory frameworks, and economic trends.
  • Established relationships with financial journalists, media outlets, and key influencers.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a talent for crafting clear and impactful messaging.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute effective media strategies that drive results.
  • Experience handling high-pressure situations and managing sensitive media issues effectively.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
