Overview

Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Vascular Radiologist to lead our team of specialists. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating vascular diseases, as well as developing and implementing new services.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of £90,000 - £120,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate will join our team of seven other vascular radiologists who provide comprehensive diagnostic and interventional services to our region.

Main Duties

  • To provide high-quality diagnostic and interventional services to patients with vascular diseases.
  • To develop and implement new services and treatments for vascular diseases.
  • To supervise and train junior medical staff.
  • To participate in audit and research activities.

Requirements

  • MRCR (UK) or equivalent qualification.
  • Postgraduate degree: MRCP or MRCS.
  • Fellowship in vascular intervention; fellowship in cardiac imaging.
  • Full Registration with the GMC.
  • GMC Specialist Registration (or expected inclusion within 6 months).
  • Ability to manage and lead radiology teams.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives, GPs, nurses and other health professionals.
