Construction Expert

We are seeking a talented and experienced Construction Expert to join our team at Reed FE, a leading recruitment agency working with colleges, prisons, universities, and training providers across Yorkshire and the North East.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with learners of all ages and backgrounds, in different disciplines and levels, and help us deliver high-quality education in various subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students in Construction subjects.
• Assess and provide feedback on student progress and achievements.
• Develop and implement lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessment materials.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessments.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental and institutional goals.

Requirements:

• A teaching qualification (e.g., AET, PTLLS, PGCE, certificate in education).
• An assessors' qualification (e.g., A1, D33/D34, CAVA, TAQA, IQA).
• A level 3 or equivalent qualification in the teaching subject area.
• Experience interacting with 16–19-year-olds in an education or apprentice setting.
• Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• A current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Reed Compliance.

Salary: £30.00 per hour including holiday pay (dependent on experience and qualifications).

Location: Durham.

Type: Part-Time/Full-Time.
