Mobile Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Service Engineer to join our team at Nationwide Platforms. As a Mobile Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and inspection of our powered access equipment to ensure they are in excellent working condition.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading powered access rental company in the UK, providing safe access solutions for working at height. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service, and we are looking for a talented individual to join us in this mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine service and maintenance of powered access equipment
  • Diagnose and repair faults on equipment
  • Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition
  • Complete all relevant paperwork in line with company procedures
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective workshop performance
  • Liaise with customers to estimate and advise on equipment repair costs
  • Ensure vans are fully equipped with spare parts at all times
  • Adhere to company guidelines on Health & Safety at Work
About You:
  • Relevant general maintenance qualification and experience in the plant rental sector
  • Experience in plant, diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics/fault finding
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure
  • Good interpersonal skills and a strong understanding of excellent customer service
