Roadside Mechanic Nights

The RAC is a leading provider of breakdown services in the UK, with a team of 4,000 'orange heroes' delivering exceptional motoring services for private and business drivers. Our growth means we now have a fantastic opportunity for skilled, field-based Roadside Mechanics to join our Roadside Patrol team.

As a Roadside Mechanic, you will need:

  • A Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
  • Demonstrative technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
  • A customer-focused approach
  • A full UK driving licence

As a Roadside Mechanic, you'll encounter a diverse range of breakdowns and technical issues, so technical experience is essential. You'll need to demonstrate core mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic experience. With a base pay of £33,000, you'll enjoy uncapped earning potential with average earnings between £41,000 – £51,000.
