Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain company ledgers and daily financial transactions
  • Create financial documents such as bills, invoices, payables, receivables, and purchase orders
  • Identify discrepancies in ledgers and accounts, tracking them to the source and correcting them
  • Liaise and manage payroll activities with concerned personnel
  • Coordinate and manage payment and billing details of external service providers, contractors, and vendors
  • Verify payments and deposits made through the company account
  • Monthly reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts
  • Month end journals including payroll, accruals, pre-payments, depreciation, etc
Requirements
  • BSc in Accounting and Finance /AAT/AIA qualified
  • Minimum of three years' experience as Assistant Accountant
  • Experience in accounting for social housing and property management
  • Experience in Xero
  • Intermediate level Excel ability (Vlookups, Pivot tables, ability to work with large spreadsheets)
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads under pressure
  • Willingness to learn and develop
