Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at DPD Group UK. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for the accounting, analysis, and administration of our Depot Network and Owner Driver Department.
Key Responsibilities:- Working closely with the Finance Manager on specific projects
- Developing strong relationships across the business and with external stakeholders
- Management of Weekly Financial P/L including revenue analysis, monthly and year-end reporting, while being able to consolidate the information into concise reports
- Compiling annual plans and presenting these to Senior Management team members
- Preparation of monthly Balance sheets
- Identifying cost savings and efficiencies
- Review and redesign existing processes to facilitate decision-making
- Commercially astute and fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with at least 12 months post-qualification practical experience
- Minimum of a 2:1 degree in any discipline and Grade C or above GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Strong financial awareness, experience of group reporting, and the ability to monitor your performance against deadlines and milestones
- Proven experience of operating at a senior management accountant or equivalent level role, coupled with the know-how and confidence to present clear and simple results
- Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail: able to analyse numerical data, verbal data, and all other sources of information quickly and effectively
- Good planning and organisational skills, and the ability to meet multiple deadlines
