About the Role

Delivering Excellence in Water Infrastructure

M Group Services, a leading provider of essential infrastructure services, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Engineer to join our Water Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of construction activities on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with COVID-19 safe systems of work and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Deliver construction activities in a timely and efficient manner, meeting project specifications and quality requirements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to teams working on construction activities, ensuring all work is carried out to the necessary standards.
  • Prepare method statements and risk assessments, and set out works in accordance with drawings and specifications.
  • Liaise effectively with construction supervisors, construction managers, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to deliver projects to the highest standard.
  • Complete accurate records of permanent works and provide support to the wider team.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Site Engineer on wastewater projects, including pipelines, earthworks, and excavations.
  • Desirable experience in Pumping Station construction and trenchless works.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • CITB SMSTS or other recognized industry-accredited safety management program, CSCS card, or EUSR Safety Health, Environmental (SHEA) passport scheme.
  • Demonstrate a clear focus on customer and stakeholder performance with a service excellence and performance focus.
  • An enthusiastic team player.
Additional Information
  • You must possess a high degree of manual dexterity demonstrated through the use of hand tools.
  • You will be required to work outdoors in all weathers and be required to walk and stand on uneven ground.
  • You must also be able to work within a confined space, without restriction.
