About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Volunteering Officer to join our team at Shelter. As a key member of our Equity, Inclusion & Culture Directorate, you will play a vital role in mobilizing volunteers to deliver our strategic priorities.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with our corporate partners to develop and deliver volunteering opportunities that increase people power and bring new skills and experiences into Shelter. You will be responsible for coordinating financial health information sessions in local communities, working with volunteers and host organizations to ensure a quality experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with corporate partners to identify opportunities for volunteering
  • Coordinate financial health information sessions with volunteers and host organizations
  • Ensure volunteers are motivated, supported, and feel connected to Shelter's mission
  • Collate feedback from volunteers and host organizations, making suggestions for improvements

About You

We are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, confident and experienced in methods of communication, and strong organizational skills. You should have a proven ability to build relationships and motivate others. A salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum is offered for this position.
