Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the wraparound care team. This includes assisting in the delivery of the breakfast and after-school club, supervising and supporting children during these sessions, and helping to prepare and serve meals and snacks. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children in a similar setting and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and supervise activities that promote the safety, well-being, and engagement of children.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
• Assist with the preparation and serving of meals and snacks, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Help set up and tidy away equipment and resources, maintaining a clean and organised environment.

Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children in a similar setting is desirable.
• A relevant qualification in childcare or playwork is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude.
• Understanding of safeguarding procedures and the ability to ensure the safety of all children.
