Plymouth, Plymouth, United Kingdom Aggregate Industries UK Limited Full time

**About Aggregate Industries UK Limited**

At the heart of construction, we're committed to building progress and driving transformation in the industry for a more sustainable future. Recognised as one of the safest and customer-focused companies, we're looking for talented individuals to join our movement, grow, innovate, and develop together to create continuous value.

**The Opportunity**

We're excited to offer a Trainee Logistics Planner position at our Regional Customer Centre in Plymouth. This role is perfect for those who want to develop a career and not just a job by becoming a crucial part of our logistics delivery team.

**Your Career with Us**

Your career will start with your ability to learn and develop, not your past experience. With full training and development support from management and experienced planners, you'll unleash your full potential.

**Responsibilities**

Once trained, you'll be responsible for organizing deliveries of aggregates across the Cornwall & Devon region. Working in a fast-paced environment where deliveries can be scheduled for the same or next day, you'll need to adapt to changes and communicate effectively with teams.

You'll also help build working relationships with hauliers and other internal stakeholders while assisting in negotiating haulage rates.

**Requirements**

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be able to adapt to changing information, revisit work already completed, and cope well in pressured situations. You'll also be an excellent communicator, capable of building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and a natural organiser, taking pride in processing and acting on various streams of incoming information.

**Benefits**

We offer a competitive salary, plus bonus, 25 days holiday + local bank holidays (with options to increase), and other benefits that recognize your contribution. These include being valued and supported, working as part of a highly respected team in a business that prioritizes Health & Safety, enhanced family benefits, and opportunities for career progression both at home and abroad.

**Estimated Salary:** £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
