We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Senior Staff Nurse to join our team at St Catherine's Hospice. As a Senior Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to individuals and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring the physical, emotional, and social needs of patients are met.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and carers to promote independence and self-management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Experience in a palliative care setting, preferably in a hospice environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
