We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Head of Animal Care to join our team at Animal Trust in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of veterinary professionals and providing expert care to pets in need.
Job Overview:This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled veterinary professional to take on a leadership role and make a real difference in the lives of animals and their owners.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of veterinary professionals, ensuring high standards of care and fostering a culture of continuous professional development.
- Provide expert care to pets, including emergency and critical care, advanced ultrasound, orthopaedic surgery, endoscopy, and other advanced procedures.
- Participate in regular meetings and management training to align clinic practices with our community goals.
- A qualified Veterinary Surgeon with extensive experience in emergency and critical care.
- Strong technical proficiency in advanced veterinary procedures.
- A passion for delivering high-quality care and a commitment to our social mission.
- An estimated salary of £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- A 40-hour working week over 4 days with 2:9 weekends.
- 6 weeks of holiday per year, including bank holidays.
- 52 weeks sickness benefit, private healthcare, and free employee assistance programme.
- Visa sponsorship available for this role.
