Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

We have an exciting opportunity for a Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Mental Health Support Worker. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with SEND and SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis during the school day to provide emotional support and guidance">
  • Develop strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive support plan">
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and senior management team to implement effective interventions and strategies">
  • Attend training sessions to develop skills in suitable interventions and approaches for pupils with challenging behaviour">
  • Work closely with outside agencies, including therapists and healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive support for pupils">

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of child mental health and its impact on academic achievement">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills">
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment">
  • Passion for supporting children with SEND and SEMH needs">
  • Experience in CAMHS or child mental health services (desired)">

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
