We are seeking a highly skilled Building Safety Inspector - Fire Doors Specialist to join our team at Riverside Group. As a key member of our safety team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough building safety inspections to identify and respond to defects, prioritizing and ensuring actions are undertaken in a timely manner to remove hazards and ensure installed equipment is operational.
- Defend liability claims relating to communal areas and provide a diligent defense against statutory or regulatory breaches.
- Carry out risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building regulations, and fire regulations.
- Manage stakeholders effectively, both internally and externally, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Utilize IT systems, including MS Office, to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Proven track record of monitoring risk and health and safety compliance in a housing environment.
- Knowledge of asbestos, legionella, building regulations, fire regulations, and health and safety regulations.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in IT systems, including MS Office.
