Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled HR Officer to join our team, with a focus on leading recruitment processes, facilitating on-boarding, and overseeing staff exits. The successful candidate will also drive culture initiatives, manage reward benefits, oversee health and safety, and maintain and update HR policies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  2. Facilitate the on-boarding process and ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
  3. Oversee staff exits and manage all related procedures.
  4. Provide support and guidance to line managers on employee issues and performance management.
  5. Drive culture initiatives and promote a positive work environment.
  6. Manage reward benefits and oversee health and safety for the team.
  7. Support training initiatives by managing appraisals and identifying staff training needs.
  8. Maintain and update HR policies, ensuring compliance with employment laws and best practices.
  9. Maintain the HR system, ensuring it accurately reflects current contracts, personal details, and training records.
  10. Produce quarterly HR KPI reports and provide insights for business growth.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  1. At least 3 years of experience in HR operations, with a strong background in recruitment, on-boarding, employee relations, and policy management.
  2. Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
  3. Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
  4. Strong communication skills to build effective relationships and manage team culture.

What We Offer

We're offering a competitive salary range of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits including hybrid working, free parking, and a supportive and inclusive work environment.
