We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to advise on contractual matters and process claims for our education project in Carlow.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Advise on contractual matters, including general and project-level issues.
  • Process contractual claims and associated records.
  • Identify opportunities to maximise revenue and reduce costs.
  • Assist with project cash management.
  • Negotiate subcontract and suppliers' prices and terms.
  • Ensure final accounts are closed in a timely manner.
  • Prepare subcontract and suppliers' documents.
  • Review and update risk registers, variation trackers, and extension of time tracker sheets monthly.
  • Variations: measurement and pricing.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
  • 3+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveyor role on construction projects.
  • Ability to work on large-scale, high-headcount construction sites and sub-contractors.
  • Liaise with Commercial Manager and Contracts Manager when dealing with internal stakeholders and client representatives.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry and working on site.
  • Ability to use time productively and meet challenging work goals.
