Actuarial Manager

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Manager to join our team at Arthur Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the production of actuarial deliverables into our company's Solvency 2 processes and collaborating with other functions, including Risk and Finance.

This role requires a strong understanding of actuarial principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing actuarial teams and delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculating the best estimate of liabilities, the risk margin, and the underwriting risk SCR (Pillar I)
  • Assisting with the ORSA process and the capital assessment, stress testing, and assessment of the standard formula (Pillar II)
  • Maintaining our company's governance framework, including result review, process or policy documentation
  • Transforming our team's operating model by improving process efficiency and enhancing automation

Requirements:

  • Ideal candidate will be a qualified actuary with experience in Solvency 2 and ORSA processes
  • Background in non-life insurance, preferably personal lines/P&C
