Job Description

**Job Title:** Senior Mechanical Development Engineer - Driveline Lead

**Job Type:** Full-time, Permanent

**Location:** Remote (with occasional travel to client sites)

**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Development Engineer to lead our Driveline development team. As a key member of our Powertrain team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality driveline components and systems that meet our customers' needs.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement driveline component and system designs that meet performance, cost, and quality targets
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver driveline development projects, including design, testing, and validation
  • Collaborate with design and simulation teams to ensure accurate and efficient design processes
  • Develop and maintain test procedures and protocols to ensure reliable and repeatable test results
  • Identify and resolve technical issues and concerns through root cause analysis and corrective action
  • Work closely with vehicle testing and vehicle programme teams to ensure seamless integration of driveline components and systems

**Requirements:**

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in driveline development, with a focus on mechanical engineering
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality driveline components and systems
  • Strong understanding of driveline design, testing, and validation processes
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
