Motorsport Technician

We are seeking a skilled Motorsport Technician to join our team at Arnold Clark in Kilmarnock. As a key member of our Peugeot branch, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high performance and reliability of our vehicles.

Arcelin Industries Limited trading as Arnold Clark is one of the UK's leading car retailers with over 250 dealerships nationwide. Our goal is to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a strong presence in the automotive market.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to this, there are opportunities for performance-based bonuses up to £9,000 every three years, subject to terms and conditions. All overtime work is paid at time and a half rates.

• To diagnose and repair complex vehicle faults, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and industry best practices.
• To maintain accurate records of work completed, including diagnostic procedures and repairs undertaken.
• To stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments and advancements in the field through ongoing training and professional development.

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as Automotive Engineering or Motor Vehicle Technology.
• Possession of relevant industry certifications, such as IMI certification.
• At least 2 years' experience working as a technician in a similar role.

• A starting annual leave entitlement of 33 days (inclusive of bank holidays), with opportunities for growth.
