Are you passionate about supporting individuals with mental health needs?

We are seeking a dedicated Case Worker to join our team at Moxie People, working in Ebbw Vale.

This role involves providing emotional and practical support to individuals struggling with their mental health, promoting independence and well-being.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting individuals with mental health needs
  • Assisting with daily living tasks
  • Providing emotional support and guidance
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure excellent service delivery

What we offer:

  • A competitive salary of £20,590 per year, increasing to over £23,000 with sleep-in payments
  • A permanent contract with a solid 6-week rolling shift rota
  • Extra payments for disturbed sleep during shifts
  • A supportive and understanding employer

Requirements:

  • Experience in support work, preferably in a mental health setting
  • Solid values around building trust, empathy, and understanding
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed practice is desirable
  • Access to a vehicle is essential
  • A DBS on the update service is a distinct advantage
  • Ability to cover overnight/sleep-in shifts is essential
