About the Role:

Spencer Clarke Group is seeking a Community Support Worker to provide individualised support to clients in East London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering key strategic objectives, including:

  • Providing one-on-one support to individuals within the community.
  • Assisting clients with personal care, daily living tasks, and emotional support.
  • Promoting independence by encouraging clients to engage in social and recreational activities.
  • Regularly updating care plans and maintaining accurate records.
  • Communicating effectively with family members, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in a support or caregiving role, ideally within a community or lone-working setting.
  • A background in working with individuals with diverse needs, including physical disabilities, mental health conditions, or learning disabilities.
  • Experience in assisting clients with personal care and daily living activities.
  • Experience in documenting care provided, updating case notes, and maintaining accurate records.

What’s on Offer:

Salary: £14.80+ph (may be negotiable for exceptional candidates)

Contract type: 3-6 months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension

Hours: Day Shift, 32.5 hours per week
