Job Opportunity at the London School of Economics and Political Science

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our Department of Accounting as an Assistant Professor in Accounting.

The successful applicant will have a strong research profile and a clear vision for their academic career. They will be expected to contribute to the department's teaching and research activities, and to develop their own research agenda.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality research in accounting, with a focus on publishing in leading academic journals.
  • Teach accounting courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with a focus on delivering engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Contribute to the development of the department's research strategy and priorities.
  • Participate in departmental and faculty-wide initiatives, such as research seminars and workshops.

Requirements:

  • PhD in accounting or a related field, or close to completion.
  • Strong research profile, with a clear vision for their academic career.
  • Excellent teaching and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
