Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our well-structured and dynamic team at Ackerman Pierce Ltd. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work from home, with a fair and manageable caseload, and further training in their portfolio.

Main Duties:
  • Assess service users and carers with complex needs in relation to their home environment.
  • Undertake face-to-face reviews/assessments for adults of all ages in relation to reablement, accommodation, equipment/adapts, and minor adapts.
  • Provide expert advice and assessments for equipment and home modifications.
  • Recommend adaptations and moving and handling assessments.
  • Awareness of the importance of safeguarding vulnerable people and understanding of dignity and respect when dealing with people.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community.
  • Previous experience working with major adaptations.
  • Manual handling experience.
  • HCPC Registration.
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Occupational Therapist Qualification.
