We are seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our well-structured and dynamic team at Ackerman Pierce Ltd. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work from home, with a fair and manageable caseload, and further training in their portfolio.
Main Duties:- Assess service users and carers with complex needs in relation to their home environment.
- Undertake face-to-face reviews/assessments for adults of all ages in relation to reablement, accommodation, equipment/adapts, and minor adapts.
- Provide expert advice and assessments for equipment and home modifications.
- Recommend adaptations and moving and handling assessments.
- Awareness of the importance of safeguarding vulnerable people and understanding of dignity and respect when dealing with people.
- Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community.
- Previous experience working with major adaptations.
- Manual handling experience.
- HCPC Registration.
- Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Occupational Therapist Qualification.
