Quality Assurance Specialist

At Hunter Savage, we are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for regulating, controlling, and improving the quality of products and processes throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process Support: Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Document Control: Manage the document control process to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• ISO9001 Internal Audit Program: Lead the implementation and coordination of internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Procedures and Work Instructions: Write and implement procedures and work instructions in line with requirements.
• Product Quality Testing: Manage product quality testing to ensure compliance with specifications and drive continuous improvement.
• Process Auditing: Manage process auditing requirements to ensure compliance with specifications and drive continuous improvement.
• Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data for trending information, presentation to management, and assessment for improvement opportunities.
• Non-Conformances: Manage non-conformances from problem identification to resolution using various quality tools.
Management Responsibilities:
• New Product Development: Assist in the overall new product development process.
• Leadership and Direction: Provide leadership and direction in relation to the QMS.
• Communication: Communicate quality performance across all levels within the company.
• Training: Provide quality-related training.
Skill Requirements:
• Quality production process knowledge.
• ISO 9001 certification knowledge.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
