This Senior Paralegal position sits within our MLS team, supporting our Property group. The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated client team, delivering exceptional service while playing a key role in managing a large and varied portfolio of assets.

Job Description

We are recruiting a Senior Paralegal with a strong background in asset management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating asset management documents, such as leases, licences, variations, surrenders, extensions, consents, and other property documents.
  • Supporting the management of leases, tracking key dates, handling renewals and terminations, and maintaining compliance with lease terms.
  • Assisting with due diligence for property transactions, collecting and organising documents to facilitate risk assessment and compliance reviews.
  • Supporting the wider client service team in ensuring compliance across clients' asset management portfolios.
  • Maintaining organised matter management, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for client teams and clients.
  • Providing informal support to junior paralegals, sharing knowledge, and helping develop best practices in document handling and portfolio asset management.
  • Acting as a liaison within the client service team and clients' in-house legal, estates, and operational teams to facilitate excellent communication and document flow.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Previous Paralegal experience or equivalent specialising in property asset management.
  • Experience working in a large commercial law firm and understanding of the levels of service delivery required.
  • Experience using legal technology solutions and platforms to deliver excellent client service.
