Job Overview

The Progress Group is seeking a dedicated and innovative Teacher to join our team as we continue to grow and develop our alternative education provision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Delivery: To teach across various subjects, with a focus on delivering engaging lessons that cater to the needs of SEMH students and/or SEN.
  • Student Support: To provide emotional support and guidance to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Team Collaboration: To work closely with colleagues to share best practices, collaborate on lesson planning, and contribute to the overall growth and development of the school.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: To hold QTS/QTLS and have a strong understanding of alternative provision and special educational needs.
  • Experience: To have worked in a school environment, particularly in secondary schools, with experience of working with SEMH students and/or SEN.
  • Skills: To possess excellent communication skills, be able to engage learners, and have a passion for making a positive impact on students' lives.

Compensation
